MYTHS ABOUT PSYCHICS
There are many myths about psychics and expectations that can be unrealistic. This page is about education and information about psychics that will help you gain a better understanding and insight into what it means about having these gifts.
All psychics are different in how they work, how they get their information for you and also their own level of awareness and intuitiveness. The following is general for the majority of psychics but it is possible there are those out there who do not fit in the “general” mold. Understand that there are many levels of awareness for psychics – some are more in tune than others and come from their heart space, others will work more independently and keep their distance. There is no right or wrong – just what works for you.
Myth 1 - Psychics Should Know Everything
Fact: Psychics do not know everything there is about you – they can “read” your energy, get information from your guides and their own guides but are limited by how open or closed you both are.
Myth 2 - Most people believe they are open
Fact: Most people are a bit wary or are upset by something before they get to a psychic or are just private people or they don’t want the psychic to ‘know’ everything about them.
Myth 3 - All Psychics are the Same
Fact: All psychics actually work quite differently. Some like to use the Tarot, Runes, Numerology or other means to work with clients and others work entirely with the guides to get their information. There is no right or wrong – just choose one that feels right for you.
There are many people who will absolutely not ever have a Tarot reading – they do not like the energy and are against this form of Reading. Others only trust Tarot readers as they can follow along with the reading.
Myth 4 - Psychics Should Be Able To Read My Mind
Fact: It is possible to read minds, but the energy/connection and conditions between the two people need to be right. Don’t go and see a psychic and expect them to read your mind. Sometimes it will happen and other times it won’t. Psychics will not read your mind, word for word, but can gain a general impression of your thoughts. The more emotion that is in a thought, the more one can read it.
Myth 5 -
If A Psychic Confirms What You Already Know, They Are Just Reading Your Mind and Not Doing A Reading
Fact: A good psychic will confirm what you already know. This means that your own intuition was already on track and the psychic is just confirming this for you.
